Since 1996, Galon Dental Prosthetics has cared for denture patients across North Brisbane and the Moreton Bay region. We’re a family-owned dental prosthetist practice, not a general dental clinic. Our team designs, crafts, and fits full and partial dentures, implant-retained options, and other dental appliances, every day. We call our approach Patient-Focused Denture Therapy. Rather than treating every case the same way, our denture specialists take the time to understand your comfort, function, and lifestyle needs before any clinical work begins. Meet our dental prosthetist

Jaydee Galon, our principal dental prosthetist, is registered with the Dental Board of Australia and holds a Bachelor of Dental Prosthetics degree, along with 20 years of hands-on experience treating patients across Queensland.

Known for an honest and approachable style, Jaydee believes patients deserve clear communication, genuine care, and treatment tailored to their individual needs. The goal is always to provide comfortable, functional, complete dentures and a supportive patient experience where people feel listened to, respected, and cared for throughout their treatment.

Dental prosthetists are trained specifically to design, construct, and fit dental prosthetics, including full and partial dentures, implant-retained options, and mouthguards, and they hold nationally recognised registration with the Dental Board of Australia, meeting the same registration requirements as dentists, dental specialists, and other dental professionals. Dental prosthetists are also trained to work independently, meaning you can see us directly without a referral. Some clinics send appliances out to an external dental technician; at Galon, you deal with the same qualified team from your first consultation through to your final fitting.

Unlike clinics that outsource to an external dental laboratory, Galon Dental Prosthetics crafts your dentures and other dental appliances on-site. Having our own laboratory means tighter quality control over every stage of the process, faster turnaround on repairs and relines, and closer collaboration between the clinician who sees you and the technician who builds your appliance, right down to fine details like the metal clasps on a partial denture. Personalised from first consultation to final fitting

Every new patient starts with a thorough consultation rather than a rushed appointment. We’ll talk through your medical and dental history, including any relevant health details or notes from your medical practitioner, review any existing dental radiographs from your dentist, and examine your oral health for signs of oral pathology. From there, we’ll identify any additional requirements and put together a personalised treatment plan with an itemised cost estimate. There are no surprises, and costs will vary depending on your individual needs. If you feel anxious about the process, particularly if this is your first time wearing dentures, we’ll explain each procedure clearly, keep careful records along the way, and take things at your pace.
